The Adidas Terrex Fast X FM GTX are a super light hiking shoe designed for fast outdoor activities. A Gore-Tex membrane keeps the wet out while allowing your feet to breath so regulating temperature during high energy pursuits.Adidas have integrated a Traxion outsole with Continental rubber and Formotion to give great grip and stability while out on the trail. Formotion gives enhanced motion control and downhill comfort while the Continental rubber is highly durable so you'll be comfortable for miles and miles of high octane fun.
Along with features like the Gore-Tex lining, Continental rubber sole and Formotion Adidas include a protection plate for impact protection and Adiprene which helps with propulsion, stability and gives under heel cushioning.

after reading other reviews I decided to buy these's and I have no regret's to sum them up in one word (perfect ) they are a wide fit which is great for me as I have a wide foot, I got to wear them out for the first time on sunday and went for a nice long walk around my local park which is a good 6 miles and had no problems they are really comfy.If your thinking of buying them don't let the price put you off because they are worth every penny….

Cool shoes. Comfy, light and more robust than I was expecting; the fabric feels hard wearing. My only reservation is that I'm not sure how easy it will be to replace the lacing system if the laces ever break. On the expensive side but I imagine the Gore-Tex lining adds to the cost. I was unsure what size to get - I'm usually a UK 8 but I've found Adidas on the small side before. Like Merrel their 8 equates to as US 8.5 as opposed to a US 9, and a UK 8 in a Merrel is too small for me. I went for the UK 8.5 / US 9 and this fits fine.

Liked them but too small
I ordered a pair of these and was delighted with the look, weight and frankly lariness of the colour. The only problem was that they were slightly too small. I am a size 11 in other shoes (other Adidas, North Face, Nike) but felt my big toe against the end of the shoe. I also wasn't too sure about the lacing system as it looked a little fragile (IMHO). Webtogs' return process was, as usual, faultless.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained...

I've had these for a few months now and the only issues I have is a 'squeek' from one of the shoes (gets anoying after while on a long walk), and the lace bungee stiching has come away, minor issues though. The comfort level is very high and the Gore-Tex membrane keeps your feet dry and warm. I use these everyday in the snow and they haven't let a drop in. Highly recommended.REVIEW BY: Stevie996TT
