I made the decision to purchase these shoes having had a pair of Adidas Badlanders that put simply are the most versatile and best wearing outdoor shoes I have ever owned. These shoes however were to replace my Salomon XA Pros which I have now had 2 pairs of and both of which have disintegrated fairly quickly in the heel area. Don't be put off by the fact that the Terrex are a good £30 cheaper than Salomons as they actually appear to be more robustly constructed and also benefit from the seamless construction which, whilst not waterproof, does seem to keep most of the wet out! Great grip, comfy and the sizing is spot on...I would really recommend them for all round outdoor use.REVIEW BY: VC10cyclosport
