Formed in 1966 by the two mountaineers, Peter Lockey and Gordon Davison, Berghaus have consistently stayed true to their tag line "Trust is earned". Initially importing other brands, Berghaus started to design their own gear in 1974 and never looked back. One of the first brands to utilise internal frames in backpacks, they continue to innovate with their bio-flex back system on larger sacks. Through the sponsorship and feedback of established legends such as Sir Chris Bonnington, through to current athletes such as Leo Houlding, Berghaus have been at the forefront of pushing the boundaries of outdoor design.
