The price remains at £160 this year, while most jackets have increased by at least a tenner. It’s made from Gore-Tex Performance Shell fabric. Inside there is a mesh lining and also a wide brushed polyester lining in the collar, which all adds to the comfort. This is a longer jacket than most, so it’s ideal for walking in the rain. The extra length also means that the base pockets can be accessed even while wearing a rucksack with hipbelt. There is a dedicated map pocket behind the stormflap of the main zip.
