Gregory Women's Jade 60 Litre Backpack Information

Product Description

The fully featured Gregory Jade 60 Rucksack has a thicker foam waist belt and load transfer panel for extra weight distribution, making it the most comfortable pack that you'll ever wear. The waist belt and harness have been specifically designed to fit a woman's body and the backpack features easy access and tons of organisation perfect for storing or stashing gear for temperamental weather!

Women's Specific Fit

Gregory has addressed every individual’s fit and comfort needs from the beginning, and their packs have always been built to fit the body shape of the wearer. The women’s specific packs are no different. Designed for and tested by women, for women, they are guaranteed to fit comfortably. Sure they could have just changed the colour and called it a day, but just like the women that buy our products, we strive to perform beyond expectations. Gregory women's specific tech features include narrower back panels and female specific harnesses to fit a female frame to help improve performance and be more comfortable in doing this.

Gregory advise a comfort load zone of 20 kg for the Women's Jade 60 as it features the AFS suspension which eliminates barrelling of the pack from heavy loads through an aluminium stay which connects with the load lifting panel for load transfer. A super soft rotating waist belt registers your hip angle and articulates movement with your body so keeping the centre of gravity aligned with where you want to go.

Pack Size
In order to purchase the correct size Gregory pack for your torso you should measure the length between the C7 Vertebra (at the base of your neck) to the spot on your lower back where your spine meets the bony hip structure called the Illiac crest. This will ensure a perfect fit and make the load carrying a pleasurable experience. If you are between frame sizes then you should always go for the smaller size.

Tech details

Rip Stop - This is a lightweight nylon fabric with interwoven ripstop reinforcement threads in a cross hatch pattern. It is woven with a coarse, strong warp and filling yarns at intervals so that tears will not spread. Ripstop is used in construction of hot air balloons and yacht sails but in this case very effectively on outdoor clothing and equipment.
DWR - Durable Water Repellent, is a coating added to fabrics to help add to their water repellency and shed water and snow more effectively.
