Outstanding build quality
Fantastic jacket with the only drawback being the tail is a little to short and lifts up the back especially when carrying a rucksack.

Superb jacket
I had a Mera Peak before which was outstanding. This jacket is more lightweight and extremely well put together making it feel better though it lacks the reassurance of an 'old fashioned' map pocket (as opposed to one to fit a gps) and the hood doesn't pack away. The extra large fits as the berghaus large would, hence marking the fit as 'one size too small'. Yet to be fully tested but I'm comfident it will perform extremely well.
