The all new Keen Men's Gypsum Mid Walking Boots are a brilliant addition to the Keen walking and hiking boot range, with a waterproof and breathable membrane the Gypsum Mid's can take you high and low with no problem. 4mm multi-directional lugs keep you locked down onto the trail, or lack of, so you can take each step with confidence knowing that your Keens will perform.Other features in the Gypsum Mid's include a metatomical dual density footbed for extra comfort on those long days trekking, a torsion stability ESS shank to keep you upright on uneven terrain and finally Keen have added a new technology called Keen Zorb Strobel. Keen Zorb Strobel is the addition of a high impact foam insert which literally gives you a spring in your step. It also helps to dissipate shock and add to the all round comfort of the Gypsum Mid even on long and hard hikes.

"The Gypsum Mids are the most comfortable walking boots that I have ever owned and I would recommend them very highly on this basis alone. The wide toebox is perfect for broader feet. They offer good breathability and grip in most conditions. In really wet weather the Keen Dry membrane does not seem to be quite as waterproof as some Gore-tex boots, but is still satisfactory. This and the fact that the lugs on the soles wear quite quickly are the only reasons why I have awarded them 4 instead of 5 stars. Nonetheless, I would not trade them for any other boots. I have also owned a pair of Targhee II Mids and in my opinion the Gypsum Mids perform better. Just remember to order half a size larger than your normal shoes."REVIEW BY: MutleyB
