Keen.Dry is a proprietary waterproof, breathable membrane that lets moisture out without letting water in so keeping your feet dry from rain and snow while letting moist damp air escape from the boots or shoes.
S3 other wise know as Shock, Suspension and Stability. Keen have engineered this technology to help support the foot on impact and dissipate shock to reduce the odds of twisting an ankle.
I reviewed these boots two months ago but they are so good I've returned to add an update.
I recently used my Keen Pyrenees for a three day backpack in the Cambrian Mountains. Over some of the roughest terrain I've walked across, they were robust enough and very comfortable the whole way. So comfortable, in fact, that for the first time I didn't bother to change back into my trainers for the drive home.
These are the best walking boots I've had in over 30 years.

These are the most comfortable walking boots I have ever owned and didn't require any breaking in.
I've got quite wide feet and they are just perfect for me.

Good walking boots
Build and finish good, footbed holds the foot well no slipping forward or backwards Toe box gives ample room for broad feet. Wearing mid weight sox I find them very comfortable on full day walks of 12/15 miles. Sole grip is good and I soon became confident with them.I have yet to experience a really wet day in them so can't comment on "Keendry" waterproofing. Half sizing is useful, the better the fit the better the comfort.

Good serrvice from webtogs
I've only had the boots a couple of weeks, so I don't have much to say about them , except that they fit my wide feet as Keen shoes normally do.
I was impressed with webtogs service on this occasion though. I ordered size elevens, but the first package they sent had a pair of size nines in a size eleven box. Webtogs customer support had to go back to the manufactuer to get the correct size, which they did with no fuss, and kept me informed.
Errors happen from time to time, and I think that one mark of a decent online retailer is how well they are rectified.

For my feet, Keen are the best
So far, worn them briefly for a couple of miles. Comfortable from first putting them on. Keen are about the only shoes I buy now.

Great product, great service.

I have been through a lot of pain (physical and financial) to get walking boots that fit my wide feet, accommodate foot expansion when my feet get hot, and that are suitable for backpacking. These Keen Pyrenees are spot on AND they're lightweight and waterproof. A superb product - I will buy more from Keen.
And fantastic service from Webtogs: fast delivery, exactly as described and plenty of time to return the goods if I didn't want them.

I am so happy i purchased these boots. Really comfy and did not take any breaking in.Wearing them now for two weeks, used them in the snow and kept my feet warm and dry. Can get slightly sweaty at times but this does not bother me at all. I love the look of these boots too,I take a size 11 and most boots make my foot look long and narrow but not these, they look so cool.

I purchased these boots after owning a pair of Keen shoes for 12 months and finding them sooo comfortable. Unfortunatly, although the foot part of the boot has the same comfort as the shoes, I find the cuff of the boots rather too high. So much so that they have rubbed the skin raw on both my ankles..I have bought some leather softener in the hope that I might remedy this as I don't want to give up on what I feel could be a very comfortable pair of boots.

No I don't work for Keen! I'm very, very particular about boots - these are the most comfortable/rugged boots I've ever walked in. Just make sure to keep them waxed and waterproofed. Brilliant - in fact I'm going to put them on now - and I'm not even going for a walk!
