I had the Women's Keen Targhee Mid boots last year and have worn them so much I had to get another pair. I opted for the Targhee Shoes this time, though, and have not been disappointed. As with the Targhee Mids, I put the shoes on and straight away they were comfortable and supportive. It's brilliant to get a pair of shoes I wear almost every day that I don't need to wear in first. urgently needed a new pair of shoes and ordered these "blind" after checking previous reviews. Put them on and walked 30 miles over a weekend- straight from the box- with no problems at all. They did feel a bit bulky to begin with, mainly because of the square toe, but are really light with excellent padding in the footbed. The shoes are very comfy (so far no blisters, etc.) and seem to be well built - but won't know for sure until they are worn for a while. However, they are quite wide and look somewhat 'square', so it takes a bit to get used to them. Would still recommend them though.REVIEW BY: DangerMouse

worn straight out of the box no breaking in required. used year round on the beach, hill walking, pounding pavements with the buggy & dog, they even enjoy trips out to the pub. great shoes, wear really well, only replaced every 2 years because the soles have been walked away - rest of the shoe still in great condition. This is my fourth pair - warning if this is your first purchase of keen shoes it won't be your last, they are highly addictive!REVIEW BY: addicted

I was told by the helpful advisor at WEBTOGS that these would be nice and wide and indeed they are. Better suited to more flat footed people, they are a bit tight across the arch and have taken some stretching. We had a small fault on one pair of walking shoes which we returned and exchanged for a different pair. Following the Webtogs receipt of the old pair, we received the new shoes the following day. These are the second pair of Keen shoes I have bought, the first were purchased in USA having never heard of them before. They we like a comfy pair of slippers the moment I put them on, they were worn every day for 3 weeks with not one blister. They have lasted 2years and as soon as I tried these Targhee's I knew they were going to be my favourite dog walking footwear, so lightweight and waterproof and look great too.
