Lowe Alpine
It all started way back in 1967 when Greg Lowe founded Lowe Alpine as a company from his work shed making backpacks for those who love the outdoors and wanted to spend more time out in the wilderness away from the high-rise buildings and cramped subways. Lowe Alpine today is a multi national company filled with employees who all participate in climbing, skiing, biking, hiking and any other outdoor niche you can think of. This sort of enthusiasm for getting outside really shines through in the Lowe Alpine backpack and travel bag ranges with constant updates and tweaks on already amazingly comfortable rucksacks and backpacks. Lowe Alpine consistently perform incredibly well and roll out brilliant packs and bags for your every need.
Lowe Alpine Technologies
Lowe Alpine have innovated new and improved ways of load bearing over the years and have ended up with various carry systems like the TXF, Hyperlite and TT. All these systems combine technologies together to create lightweight, strong and comfortable backpacks and travel bags. To explain a little about the Lowe Alpine technologies that they use in their packs we have tried to break down the tech into bite size bits, just in case you're interested in how things work the way they do in Lowe packs.![]() |
Lowe Alpine TFXTFX stands for Torso Fit Expedition and they come in TFX 6 to 10 and then TFX ND for women. The higher the number the more weight you can carry and with more weight Lowe Alpine have added more tech to aid you in the increase of weight so you can carry for longer and further. |

Lowe Alpine TorsoFitTFX features TorsoFit which is a simple back adjusting system so you can make the back length shorter or longer. Simple but very effective. TorsoMotion is featured in all TFX backpacks and this refers to the hip belt, the hip belt is allowed to twist and rotate when you move and this accommodates your bodies natural movements while trekking making load bearing more comfortable. TFX 8 back systems have a Supportive Airchannel which keep the air flow circulating through your back and helping to regulate the temperature which is important on long hikes. |

Lowe Alpine Adaptive FitTFX 10 backpacks feature Adaptive Fit and Rebound Foam. Lowe Alpine TTLowe Alpine Travel Trekker travel bags are designed for the adventure traveller among us. Rugged, functional travel packs designed with you in mind and bursting with features all there to make your travels that much more enjoyable and safe. One of the handy features on the TT range is the Clam shell pouch which allows you to carry any daypack securely on the back of your TT bag. The addition of a day bag on to travel luggage was a great idea from Lowe Alpine and it makes traveling that bit more easy so you can lock your main luggage up and go for a quick wonder round the city before your connecting flight or transfer leaves for the next destination. |
