New for 2012 the MSR Nook is a lightweight tent that won't hold you back when heading for the hills. With a packed weight of just 1.6 kg it's an ideal tent for those wanting to travel fast and light. You don't have to worry about space either, the Nook has got room for you and a mate to sit up in making it a practical comfortable experience - not just a light one.The poles on the MSR Nook are all interconnected making set up a doddle. Colour coded loops, webbing and poles also help make set up in the dark a possibility rather than a nightmare! Durability is one of the best we have seen in a lightweight tent with reinforced clipping points and fly corners. The nemesis of all tents is condensation and this is kept at bay with MSR using two vents near the peak of the tent, you can also use their "no drip" door for extra ventilation too. The No drip door comes out over the vertical inner tent, which means it can even be left open when raining.
You can also attach a trekking pole across the foot of the Nook on the outside with the included pole adaptor; this fully tensions the rear and ensures all space is available. Finally a deep bathtub groundsheet protects you from the elements.
