The Marmot Arroyo sleeping bag is the ideal 3 season bag for British conditions. Designed for when the temperature gauge hovers around the zero mark the Arroyo combines 800+ fill power down with attention to detail to produce a quality bag without the premium price tag.

The forward lean of the trapezoid foot box gives more foot room, but benefits from a double layer baffle for added warmth. A six compartment Nautilus hood, that replicates Marmot's jacket hoods, and down filled draft tubes take care of potential heat loss, whilst the DWR coated 20d nylon shell keeps the inside dry. Weighing in at three quarters of a kilo the Marmot Arroyo Sleeping Bag ticks all the boxes for spring to late autumn use with attention to detail from zip guards to prevent snagging to a soft face muff to keep draw cord and zips away from the face.

800 Fill Power

The top end of the market, offering exceptional warmth to weight ratios. 800 fill power is rare and expensive but gives expedition level performance or options for ultralight construction. The high loft down compresses well, keeping pack size down whilst standing up to the most extreme conditions

Rip Stop -

This is a lightweight nylon fabric with interwoven ripstop reinforcement threads in a crosshatch pattern. It is woven with a coarse, strong warp and filling yarns at intervals so that tears will not spread. Ripstop is used in construction of hot air balloons and yacht sails but in this case very effectively on outdoor clothing.

DWR

- Durable Water Repellent, is a coating added to fabrics to help add to their water repellency and shed water and snow more effectively.

Angled Foot Box

- Sleeping bags with an angled foot box have been made to fit your feet so that you can lie in a natural position making it more comfortable and also to reduce compression of the down and reduce heat loss.

Stitched Through Construction

- Down garments and equipment constructed using a stitch through construction which helps keep down in place and reduce clumping. This construction is used mostly on mid to low weight down items.
