The Marmot Grid 2P is a semi-geodesic 2 person tent ideal for all season use in the UK. It is designed specifically for the fickle weather we experience in Northern Europe and so it features Marmot's best ever waterproofing and stability. The fly and groundsheet have hydrostatic heads of 3500mm and 8000mm. What this means is that they won't leak if the tent is pitched correctly. The Grid pitches outer first or as a single unit so that erecting and keeping dry in a downpour is no problem. This is a perfect lightweight all season tent.Features

Rip Stop -This is a lightweight nylon fabric with interwoven ripstop reinforcement threads in a cross-hatch pattern. It is woven with a coarse, strong warp and filling yarns at intervals so that tears will not spread. Ripstop is used in construction of hot air balloons and yacht sails but in this case very effectively on outdoor clothing. |

Superb tent!
This tent is great! It doesn't really weight that much, is sturdy as you like and so easy to pitch!
I went for the green version so I can wild-camp and so I can pitch close to the crags I climb without standing out like a bright orange thing :)
Loads of vents, easy tensioning system, lots of vestibule options and it looks impressive too!
Overall I think its great :)

Perfect for my needs
I camp on my own , mainly in the lakes so needed a large one man tent. The Grid2P is perfect. It would be tight for two people but perfect for one. It's probably two big and heavy for solo wild camping but perfect on a camp site.
