Marmot's PreCip Jacket is a combination of tried and tested technology and old fashioned value for money. Designed as an entry level jacket for hill walking or high street the PreCip uses a breathable, waterproof, barrier with fully taped seams for protection from the elements with a double storm flap over the main zip.With the PreCip Marmot have produced a traditional style jacket, optimised for use over fleece or softshell mid layers, with diagonal chest pockets and a simple roll-up hood. Pit Zips are a nice touch in a budget conscious jacket and help with ventilation when needed, and Marmot's Angel-Wing system gives good freedom of movement even with a fleece underneath.

Marmot / Mens 'Precip' Waterproof Jacket
This item arrived on Friday, I unwrapped it on Saturday, I took it out with me on a rainy Sunday morning run around Hampstead Heath and it gives great outer layer protection against the rain.

very good price for a good lightweight jacket
marmot precip jakcet is very good and very cheap, the build quality of the jacket is very good with a hydrostatic head of at least 15000mm and the packet is very packable into its own pocket with a variety of useful features. the jacket is quite minimalist with only two large front pockets. but it has all the basics of two pit zip vents and adjustable hood sleeves and body Overall i am very happy with both the service from webtog and the jacket especially due to its quality, size and cost and versatility.

Precip Mens Waterproof Jacket
I had some reservation about buying this jacket solely due to its reversed zip front like left hand zip for girls until I learned (and it's true) all American jackets zip right toggle - the jacket is light weight and of a great qualitative standard that nearly matches a Swedish Cross. Good buy.

I selected this jacket after its "Which?" magazine "best buy" status and its "Trail" magazine "Finalist in Multi - Activity Jackets 2010".
Looks well made, is very light, has flexible material, good length pit zips, and is 'GREAT VALUE', but the hood peak has no stiffener / wire!
Received quickly, Webtogs provided an excellent service, even included a pre paid address label in case you want to return item!
Will definitely buy from Webtogs again!!

Lightweight compact jacket
I selected this jacket after its "best buy" status in the "Which?" magazine. It is very light and made of flexible material which allows it to be compactly folded for the rucksack. It looks well made, and I like the peaked hood after suffering my previous jacket raining down my face !

Good quality, competitively-priced jacket that does what it says. First time out it suffered an hour's heavy rain: got drips on my glasses and areas under the rucksack that couldn't shift water but I stayed basically dry - that's what it's for!
