DAC Featherlite

tent poles are up to 15% lighter than aluminum, yet comparable in strength. Through innovative design, DAC created a light weight and compact folding tent pole.

Rip Stop -

This is a lightweight nylon fabric with interwoven ripstop reinforcement threads in a crosshatch pattern. It is woven with a coarse, strong warp and filling yarns at intervals so that tears will not spread. Ripstop is used in construction of hot air balloons and yacht sails but in this case very effectively on outdoor clothing.

best one person cycling tent

I had this tent for two years and loved it. It performed beyond any I've had before. I camped in it over 100 nights and literally wore it out while cycling through the US and UK. A perfect solo tent. You can spend all day in the rain... handle gale winds... it's a piece of cake to set up and break down. I've tried many tents over 30 years of cycle touring and this is by far the best I have ever used. I am buying another for my next trip from the UK to Italy in the spring of 2012.

Roomy lightweight backpacking tent

We have been testing a fair few of the Marmot tents recently and the Twilight has stood up as one to watch when heading out wild camping. What impressed me was the amount of vestibule space you had and the fact you had two entrances.

There are lighter weight tents out there, but not perhaps for the same price you would pay for the Twilight. Looking for a bombproof good value wild camping companion? Look no further.
