Cut and sized specifically for women the Precip Pant have a combination elastic and drawcord waist adjuster and ankle zips with snap closures to make a solid barrier against the weather. I had to use these almost as soon as I received them in some foul weather on Dunwich Heath beach. I was on a weekend course there and needed to get some fresh air at lunchtime. The Precip pants slipped on easily over my trousers, were long enough, light to wear and dried beautifully over the back of a chair by the end of the afternoon. Great!

Good buy
Bought these for cycling mainly. Kept me dry all day during 8 hours of riding in constant mist and drizzle. At 5ft 4, I bought the "Small, Long" size, having been given the "Short" size earlier and finding it hopelessly short for pedalling.
The trousers are also light and easy to carry and stow. I haven't yet tried them in torrential rain, but am optimistic and consider them a great buy.

Comfortable and very light.
These Marmots, were a very good fit. The length on the Medium short is 29", which is still a bit long for me but once the hiking boots go on they are fine.
Even with a base layer underneath for warmth, they fitted comfortably and the zipped pockets were great. They are very light in weight too.
