The Marmot Scree Pant is a light-weight, versatile softshell pant that excels for everything from spring ski tours to summer alpine climbs. With the m3 fabric the Scree Pant is optimised for breathability but remains water repellent and stretchy. 4 zipped pockets, 2 main with a rear and discrete thigh positioned pocket, give ample storage whilst the ankle zips ensure a good close fit.

Well fitting pants
I bought this pair of pants after much searching for a small size and short length. This fit perfectly, and the stretchy material really does not inhibit movement in any way. Perhaps I expected it to be a bit more windproof, but on the other hand it is made of the more breathable material. Perhaps a gripe is that the zip pullers are a bit small.

Great hiking pants
True to size,well constructed pants.The stretchy quality of the material ensured a comfortable fit throughout the day and the lightness of the fabric was an added bonus.

don't know what i did without these
these trousers are great i walk my dog for about an hour every day and they are so comfortable and being water resistant is a great bonus wash them through every day and they are dry in no time brilliant

Functional yet smart!
These Scree Pants are exactly what I've been looking for some time - easy-care, comfortable for all-day outdoor activities & travelling & yet can be 'dressed up' for smarter occasions, with a discreet logo.
I particularly like the leg length choice (I need short) & the narrow ankle width when the boot flare is zipped away.

Marmot Scree Pants
This is the second pair of scree pants I have bought for my wife. She is only 4'10" tall so we struggle to find trousers that fit - especially quality outdoor trousers and webtogs seem to be the only ones that sell a short version of these pants. The fit, material and construction are all excellent making a great pair of trousers for walking/climbing. They are (she tells me) comfortable, stretcy enough to provide ease of movement and tough enough with a decent DWR finish to be ideal for hill walking in the UK

Good buy
Really nice trousers, very comfortable for going walking in, due to material being stretchy. Nice that they come in short leg length. So pleased bought a second pair. A little pricey but worth it.

Just what I needed!
I am very petite (4ft 10) and have been looking for a long time for comfy walking trousers. Finally found some :-)
These are so comfortable and fit fantastically. Stretchy, water resistant and look good too. So pleased I found them. Want another pair the same now. Couldn't be happier with them.

Pants that fit
Being a size 6, I find it very difficult to get good quality trousers that fit. I can get childrens sizes that sort of fit, but they are not usually built to last. I have found that Marmot XS fit me perfectly for length & round the waist. However, coming from America, they are not easy to get hold of. Because they are a bit stetchy, they are extremely comfortable even for a full days hiking. They also wash well & dry quite quickly. All in all, although quite expensive, they are well worth it.
