Meindl's classic lightweight three season boot has been revised to make it even more suited to the mixed terrain found in the British hills. The feature rich specification includes a luxurious full leather lining, an oiled Nubuck Leather upper incorporating the Air-Active system which helps vent warm, moist air from inside the boot via openings in the cuff and a Vibram Multigrip dual-density sole unit for shock absorption and grip. The Borneo also gets the latest Meindl developments including the revised speed lacing system, anatomical tongue and the Memory Foam System. This special foam moulds around the foot using the heat generated by the foot helping to provide comfort and security.Features
- DIGAfix - the flexible, pressure-free, diagonal fixing – ensures “all-round and more adjustable” lacing. Tightening takes place at the correct point, the hook is higher and protrudes less.

These boots are made for walking
My wife has used these boots for a number of years for walking the Munros and trekking in Nepal and South America. She suffers from prickly heat rash, so finds these excellent due to the fact they have no gore-tex lining.
They are comfortable to wear straight from the box, and last her about two years. The only niggle with them is that they would benifit from more toe protection, and perhaps a rand, but otherwise an excellent boot.

wife delighted
I bought these for my wife as I have the mens burma pro and love them. these ladies borneo pro are every bit as well made and my wife hasn't had any blisters or rubs at all after maybe 30 miles. perfect fit and comfort / support right from the box. buy these and I guarantee you wont be dissapointed. best of quality materials and manufacture, great styling and really functional. may seem expensive but genuine quality and will last years and years. worth every penny. superb

Really comfy straight away, didn't require 'wearing in' for long periods, very reasonable price on this site in comparison to many other shops. Know someone who has owned the same pair for 5 years and still as good as ever.

I wanted these boots because my last pair of meindls were walked to death and had been reheeled twice! I wanted the same boot as they are so comfy. I have a dodgy left foot and this boot cushions it well. Good for widish feet. Much better than my previous brasher boot which caused me to slip on stone.
