Features the MFS (Memory Foam System) for support and comfort. The Burma is a Gore-Tex lined version of the Borneo and is suitable for entensive walking and moderate trekking.

MFS (Memory Foam System)
Especially developed foam is used for the padding. From the foot temperature the foam softens and adjusts perfectly to the foot. For an even better fit: MFS foam is a perfect complement to our classic materials.

These boots are absolutely fantastic. Wore them around the house for a couple of hours then headed to the hills. They were so comfy and felt as though they just moulded to my feet. Excellent purchase and I shall likely always buy Meindl boots from now on.REVIEW BY: Valerie

Bought these for my girlfriend. After trying MANY boots on these "fitted like a glove" (so to speak). Quite stiff to start but the mfs overrides that quickly. Warmer than most. But, snug, supportive, reassuring. If you have a Meindl shaped foot you will probably love these, regardless of price. Anyways, what price comfort?REVIEW BY: 4etchan

Very Good Purchase!!
These boot are lovely and comfortable.
Luckly I have narrow feet because they are a very narrow fitting boot, they fit me very nicely with or without thick socks.
Very waterproof. I have had no blisters as yet and as a dog walker that is a must have!!
The only issue I have had with them so far is that my toes get very cold after a while espically with all the snow we've had recently....but thicker socks seems to do the trick.

Hassle-free, prompt delivery
These boots were comfortable as soon as I put them on! I wore them in for about an hour at home and then took them on a walking holiday, just knowing they'd be fine – and they were. Expensive ... as you'd expect for such quality, but they'll probably last years and years. And there's something wonderful about knowing you're feet are being properly supported when you're out walking.

Pleased to have found
I bought these boots to replace an existing pair of the same which I have just about worn out after several seasons in the Scottish hills. I wanted the same again but was horrified at the price charged in most shops I checked.
