The Men's Westward Chukka Boots from Merrell are a classic looking lace up boot constructed from only the finest materials. Quality rewards you with miles and miles of comfortable and happy memories.Made from out of Yak leather which is not only great to look at but incredibly durable and the Westward Chukka boots are constructed using Goodyear welt construction - this means that they will last for years to come in looks and functionality.
Merrell Air Cushion technology and Flex windows under the forefoot provide cushioning and comfort with each step while the 5mm lugs dig into the trail giving ultimate stability and traction. The Westward Chukkas will look great if you are off out but are equally at home if your off to work when its wet and muddy.

The smell of Yak leather as you open the box promises something special and these super boots don't disappoint in any way at all. Supremely comfortable from the moment you put them on there is no need at all to "break" these in. They perform as well as they look and compared to most these look stunning the extra pair of laces in an alternative colour is an unexpected bonus and a nice touch as well. Having not seen these in the shops, I was a little worried about buying an this item online. Although I have a pair of Merrell GTX XCR walking shoes (which I love), I have previously tried on some other Merrell shoes which were too tight.They arrived earlier than expected, and even though I have quite wide feet, fit perfectly. They also came with an additional pair of laces which look a bit more "outdoors" than the ones on the boot. I have bought these for casual wear - not as a hiking product. They are really comfortable, supportive, have quite a chunky sole, and I love the style. They also make me feel a bit taller. Would recommend.

Like slippers from the first time I wore them, very comfy. Wore them in the snow at the weekend and the grip was fine, slippery at times but what you would expect from any boot in snow/slush, in the dry fine though.Only rate them average for breathability but that could just be my feet ! Far better though than a pair of membrane lined summer hill boots I have. Overall very happy with these boots and the usual excellent service from Webtogs.
