The Women's Whiteout 8 Waterproof snow boots from Merrell are for those who love to get out in the snow. These boots are fully equipped for taking you out in fresh snow or slush, they have a snow shoe strap ridge for deep powder and a massive 6mm lug length for grip even in the most icy conditions.To keep your feet warm in these winter boots Merrell have added 400g of their own insulating material, Merrell Opti-Warm. This is low weight, high performing synthetic insulation which is perfect for keeping you warm and toasty on those frosty mornings. In addition to the insulation there is a synthetic fur lining which has Aegis anti-microbial treatment so the boots will combat smells and a ColdProof Ortholite Footbed to prevent the cold from coming up through the soles.
As snow tends to melt and the last thing you want is to have wet or cold feet there is an impermeable but breathable membrane creating a barrier between the Whiteouts and your feet so you keep dry and at the same time don't get damp from sweating within the boots.

Merrell boot so hopefully will perform. Very comfortable with good tred. High enough to cope with fairly deep water/slush/snow. Looks like the construction and materials used will be more than adequate for the job. Just need the snow now to give them a good workout.
