Montane

Montane as a brand was created over 18 years ago by a young engineer who started sewing garments for himself and other mountain enthusiasts, the classic start to an outdoor brand really. Now Montane focuses on innovating new products and ideas. Their main focus is to create lightweight and breathable clothing for mountain climbing, running and biking. The Montane saying is Further. Faster.

Webtogs can safely say that Montane are at the forefront of innovating new, lighter, tougher products to aid people in achieving goals that seemed to far to fetch, and we like this very much which is why they have our metaphorical stamp of approval.

This season Montane have performed the near impossible and introduced a whole range of super lightweight clothing from Shells right down to base layers. The most feather-light of them all weighing in at an an astonishing 65 grams.

Montane Technologies

Montane use a whole range of technologies in construction of their products, some innovated in-house others integrated from fabric giants like eVent and Polartec. Each fabric and technology used is engineered to specific requirements and then match up wit the product which is most suited whether it be the most waterproof or the warmest. What you can be sure of is that Montane strive to be the best at what they do. Lightweight and technical jackets and pants for those who want to go further, faster.
