The Montane Men's Fury Jacket is an incredibly lightweight but technical fleece designed to give you layering options throughout changeable weather conditions. The Fury Jacket will fit perfectly under a shell jacket or windproof layer to give you that boost of thermal efficiency.
Montane have used a mix of Polartec Classic and Power Dry fleece for the main body in order to give the best weight to warmth ratios with the added bonus of quick drying qualities needed while out in the hills and mountains.
The Fury Fleece has a large range of technical features which all combine to create a lightweight, thermally efficient and versatile fleece which can be used all year round under different top layer jackets depending on the level of protection needed.

- Polartec Power Dry under the arms and across the shoulders for a high reach and fast drying
- Pertex Microlight chin to sternum underlay protects against the wind whilst layering with a shell
- Flatlocked sewn seams throughout for extra comfort and durability
- Articulated arms for reach high movement and tailored specifically to reduce hem lift
- Balaclava style ‘Spindrift Hood’ for a close snug fit and to work under a mountaineering helmet
- Two deep A-line hand-warmer pockets positioned well clear of backpack or climbing harness belt
- Full length, reversed and baffled two way YKK front zip for ease of use with a backpack or climbing harness
- Low bulk elasticated cuffs which can be pulled up forearms to aid cooling
- Adjustable hem to prevent cold air entry and heat loss
- Machine wash in warm water at 40C/104F with a mild soap.
- We recommend that you use Nikwax Tech Wash

The best lightweight fleece I've ever worn.

I saw a review of this fleece and it was very positive about it and hailed it as the ultimate lightweight fleece. I now understand why. The fabrics used are super soft, very warm and offer great articulation. If you get the fit right you are able to swing your arms fully without it moving up your body. However the best feature has to be the hood. I have never worn a hood that is as good as the Fury's. It hugs your head perfectly and doesn't restrict your view in the slightest. It fits perfectly under a hood and the balaclava design means it will keep you warm. The only negative I have is that the stitching on the seams isn't as comfortable as seams on other fleeces but I can guess that they have stitched it this way to increase durability. Just a note as well. The colour that is shown on the website is considerably lighter then what I actually received. However I much prefer the darker colour so this suited me fine.
