Mountain Equipment present the new Citadel Jacket, giving uncompromising protection in the most challenging conditions. This jacket comes equipped with a full expedition specification for mountaineering exploits from Patagonia to Alaska.Featuring a Drilite Loft II outer which is totally windproof and highly water resistant and Primaloft One insulation for warmth when the weather turns sour. This Jacket is a perfect answer for damper conditions.

PrimaLoft is technology’s answer to down, with the important addition of being usable in the rain. The advanced synthetic insulation absorbs less water, so stays warm even when wet making it ideal for cold wet climates where down products may be unsuitable. |

Helmet Compatible jackets have hoods which are compatible for use with a helmet. The hood allows four way movement so never inhibiting your vision while reaching or stretching in awkward positions. |

Rip Stop - This is a lightweight nylon fabric with interwoven ripstop reinforcement threads in a crosshatch pattern. It is woven with a coarse, strong warp and filling yarns at intervals so that tears will not spread. Ripstop is used in construction of hot air balloons and yacht sails but in this case very effectively on outdoor clothing. |

A4 Pockets - Large pockets designed to add storage space so you can fit maps, goggles and other useful items in without feeling extra bulk. The extra space is made by over lapping and tilting pockets to utilise space within the garments. |

Very impressive Technical item
Feels like it weighs nothing, very easy to move in. Very warm. A month of minus weather to just chilly, dry to raining and damp and blowing gales, it has always kept me very warm, often with just a base layer underneath. Great detail in it's design and construction too. Like all Mountain Equipment it seems, a lot of thought in materials, design and construction, from people who really use the stuff in harsh conditions, not just wearing it to the shops.

Hello,the service provided by webtogs is fantastic.
warm jacket, windproof, with many details only about the size I was using an M (Mountain Equipment) but if you want as a third layer takes a full size
My size is 40"-42" chest , that would be a M, but if you wear a fleece and a baselayer it's best a size L.
Dan muy buen servicio , muy recomendable para comprar, la chaqueta de calidad como todo lo de ME, lo dicho si la vas a usar como tercera capa con una camiseta y un forro polar debajo cogete una talla más.
Si la vas a usar como si fuera un forro polar te bastaría tu talla habitual en la marca que es la que figura en sus tablas.

Great Jacket and Service
I bought this jacket in black for my husband for Christmas and he's really pleased with it. The description is accurate in terms of it being warm and water-resistant, what's more it's easy-care compared to a down jacket. The multitude of pockets is really useful. Now my husband is considering bringing this jacket for apre-ski instead of his Mountain Equipment down jacket.
I've been really impressed with the Webtogs service. I ordered the jacket on Dec 23rd and paid for express delivery. I was satisfied with the predicted delivery on the 29th but was bowled over when it arrived on Christmas eve. Thanks very much for the great service.

This jacket is bright (I bought the blue one), warm and comfortable. It has nice touches all round which include fleece lined pockets, peaked cap, and sealed cuffs (to prevent wind/cold getting up the arms). I've not had chance to see how water resistant it is in wet weather as this was my only concern (that it's water resistant rather than water proof). Having always gone for North Face jackets previously, I would easily say this is comparable in terms of quality and value for money.REVIEW BY: JT999
