675 Fill Power This down provides a perfect solution for people looking for a warm and compressible down product without it costing the earth. 675 fill power down is also a bit less delicate than higher fill power down making it ideal for prolonged use.
Drilite is an exceptionally light, highly breathable and water resistant shell fabric which protects down clothing and sleeping bags from dampness. Drilite is used on most Mountain Equipment down items due to it's unique ability to protect down from the weather at such a low weight.
Stitched Through Construction - Down garments and equipment constructed using a stitch through construction which helps keep down in place and reduce clumping. This construction is used mostly on mid to low weight down items.
YKK Zippers are used for their robust and water resistant properties. YKK uses the combination of locking teeth together and a PU coated strip to create a barrier between you and the elements.
After seeing this at full price in my local Cotswolds store I came across Webtogs. Impressed and comforted by the website (I usually don't get much past Amazon)I ordered it. It arrived well packaged, earlier than expected and 100% as advertised. Webtogs service was superb. The jacket itself is so light and comfortable you hardly know you are wearing it. Keeps you warm and its windproofing credentials have been tested and passed in the recent gales. Good sized handwarming pockets that can also keep your bits in. Also looks cool. Will look at Mountain Equipment kit again and will look at Webtogs for all my adventure clothing from now on.

Great Buy
I should of ordered one of these jackets sooner. I had been looking for some time, namely the North Face jacket, but everyone wears one of those, so this came out tops. Service was good given the time of year and the conditions. It was only let down by the relief Parcelforce driver who could not find our house, otherwise webtogs should call themselves, TopTogs.

Good down jacket for UK
1 of 1 people found this review useful
Well-constructed, durable rain resistant shell, warm - but not too warm - so good for active use, not just base camp. Well-fitting hood. Although better to use in the dry, it copes well with windy, drizzly UK weather. Only minor defect are the pocket zips which often get stuck and the lack of proper storm flap for the main zip - but this is the norm for down jackets I have tried.

webtogs twisted my arm as they were selling this awesome jacket for £99 , i coulndt resist ,this was a special price , i'd still pay the normal price for it 'even tho i have my north face nuptse , this has a hood which is important when your camping in glencoe through the winter keeping your head warm, and isnt too bulky to when you have to wear a loaded backpack or just out and about , my mate was very envious of my bargain , he tried to get one but too late , they were all gone in his size. if your thinking of a down jacket at affordable prices then i strongly recommend this one , pockets are a good size and it comes with a stuff sack too , what you waiting for..........:-))

although the jacket was exactly what i was looking for as a Christmas present and my husband loved it we were very disappointed when it caught on the kitchen cupboard door and ripped across the back as my husband tried it on on Christmas morning - webtogs were really helpful but the best that they could do was have it mended at an additional cost.

Thanks for the review, all down jackets have a thin fabric to enable the down to puff out and you do need to be careful with them. You were very unlucky, but we are glad the repair worked out well.

Good value and warm
Brought this for my 14 year old son to go on a trip later this year. For a teenager who hates wearing a coat, he absolutely adores it and has hardly taken if off!! Certainly value for money, may be a little bright for some but he won't get lost in a crowd.

great product and service
Ordered at the busiest time of the year when snow and ice were at their worst. Delivered within a couple of days and put to use on one of the coldest days of the year. Warm, light, comfortable and just what I was expecting. Well done Mountain Equipment and Webtogs

So far, so good
Haven't used the jacket on a mountain trip yet so my opinion my change up to five stars or may drop. Hard to be 100% sure. However, it has been used on a number of cold days and very happy so far. Weight is higher than some but it's also warmer than average I believe. Given best in test in Trail magazine.
Service from Webtogs first class. Recommended.

Down
Excellent service and great product I would have liked it a little longer in the back and the front zip a little bigger but these are very minor issues and if I was using it in a different situation might find the length spot on It arrivedwith the snow and frost so excellent. I find ME clothing very well made generally and this looks as if it's got years of service in it. Friends have commented on it enviously so I have probably helped sell acouple more.

so far so good
So far the jacket is as good as i had hoped before i got it. The hood means i don't have take a beanie hat every time i go out. I haven't tried it in extreme cold yet, but i've found it warm enough in the recent cold spell.

It is just too good!
This down jacket just gives simply everything! The warmth is amazingly good also it is very waterproof. Can withstand most rains but it won't do the job as well as a Gore-Tex.

Even though I'm not a mountain explorer this coat is perfect to keep you warm in the very cold weather. Its light and not too 'puffy', excellent buy.

Top Class Jacket
I did a fair bit of research before buying. I went for the Lightline because of the cut , the tried and tested design, general weather proofness and being a huge ME Fan
Got the jacket a few weeks ago and I'm really pleased with its performance. No fuss, lightness and warmth
Previous reviews have pointed out a couple of negatives which I agree with but overall its a great jacket
Service from Webtogs was excellent

Right place, right time
I saw the jacket in a shop, tried it on and left without buying it. It was still on my mind so later that day I ended up at Webtogs online.
Timing was perfect, it was delivered on time, just as the snow hit the UK, so I was that smug person. Definitely recommend Webtogs efficiency and web site. Many thanks.
