A classic modular Mitt, the Fitzroy Mitt from Mountain Equipment is a highly technical yet simple modular designed Mitt suitable for summer polar expeditions and Himalayan climbing up to 6000 metres. The Drilite Loft outer shell of the Fitzroy Mitt is totally windproof and highly water resistant with a double layered Primaloft insulation covering to the outer mitt for superior warmth and comfort.Pittard's Armortan Goatskin covers the palm area for a soft and pliable construction, and the removable fibre pile liner mitt has a lobster finger design for improved dexterity. The wide flare to the flared gauntlet cuff makes light work of getting the Fitzroy Mitt on and off a breeze.

Great value and very warm
Really good mitts. Inner is great as a warm climbing/skiing glove or warmer climate belay mitt. Outers are very warm and will fit over thinner climbing gloves so great as belay mitts.
2 gloves for the price of one if you ask me, and as expected build quality is fantastic so a bargain really.
