The G2 Alpine jacket is truly an all purpose jacket. It allows you to delay putting on your hardshell untill conditions are really bad. It became the jacket of choice for the British Army West Ridge team for kicking around Everest base camp waiting for the weather. It is also used as the day to day uniform for many mountain guides and instructors.

Features:

• Constructed from GORE Windstopper soft shell fabric. These are a 3 layer laminate of a hard wearing outer fabric, and a wicking lining fabric, with the Windstopper membrane sandwiched between. This offers superb protection, being totally windproof and stops snow and rain in all but the worst conditions.
• Low profile Schoeller cuffs work well with gloves and mitts.
• Active cut with articulated sleeves for exceptional freedom of movement.
• Zip away fully adjustable GORE-TEX Paclite hood.
• 2 Lower zipped, mesh lined pockets.
