-22 EXTREME:
The Mountain Equipment Lightline is one of the all time classic sleeping bags. Having given years of reliable service this year's model features a new Ultrasoft lining that keeps the weight down whilst being soft to the touch. As part of the Extreme range the Lightline uses very high quality 750+ Fill Power 93/7 Down in a Drilite Loft outer shell to ensure a high level of warmth capable of shrugging off snow and moisture.

The EXL system uses elasticated lining to pull the bag into the body, whilst allowing enough stretch when moving to stay comfortable. A combination of baffle types are used in the Lightline, all designed to eliminate draft, maximise loft and prevent the down moving around. Combined with a full 7 baffle Bulls-Eye toe piece and 3D Gemini Plus neck baffle the Lightline is designed for one purpose; to keep the warmth inside.

The Lightline is targeted at the hill walker and outdoor user wanting only the best for a good night's sleep just above and below freezing. The combination of top quality down and ultra-light Drilite Loft shell keeps the weight down making the Lightline a very pack-friendly option that won't let you down.

750+ Fill Power

This down provides a very high level of warmth to weight keeping you warm without being heavy and bulky. Products made with 750+ fill power down will be extremely compressible ensuring they take up as little room as possible in your pack.

Rip Stop -

This is a lightweight nylon fabric with interwoven ripstop reinforcement threads in a crosshatch pattern. It is woven with a coarse, strong warp and filling yarns at intervals so that tears will not spread. Ripstop is used in construction of hot air balloons and yacht sails but in this case very effectively on outdoor clothing.

DWR

- Durable Water Repellent, is a coating added to fabrics to help add to their water repellency and shed water and snow more effectively.
