Dry, warm hands on the piste
I was sceptical about softshell gloves for skiing but they turned out to be the best gloves I've ever had. The soft fabric and leather is more flexible than the materials of other ski gloves I tried in shops so your fingers are able to bend more easily. I was afraid they would not be waterproof enough but not only did they stop water getting in but they are really breatheable so where my friends' gloves were wet inside from sweat, my hands were dry. Other gloves I tried also had a big space at the ends of the fingers where the outer shell was much longer than the inner glove, making it difficult to handle things whilst wearing them but these fit much more snugly and your fingers go almost all the way to the tips. Warm too due to fur lining and good grip from the leather fingers and palm. Can't fault them!

Simply essential for Winter Climbing!

This is a great glove for winter climbing/mountaineering. It is extremely warm - even when wet. It is totally dexterous which is essential when building belays or doing tricky ice axe placements. Comfort at last!
Suffering from Vibration White Finger I have dreaded cold wet weather for years due to a struggle to find a glove which will keep my hands warm and dry and therefore prevent an attack. Last week end I tried out my Randonee Gloves and Bingo! Although they will get wet they certainly don't get cold, if anything these will be too warm to be used all year. Initially I thought them a bit ' heavy' on the hand but after wearing all day and getting them soaked through they are now 'broken in' and feel quite easier to handle.
Great grip from leather palm and excellent Mountain equipment build quality.
Definately won't fear cold wet weather when wearing these.
