My old bag was over ten years old and very worn, so I wanted a new one. I saw the videos of these and they looked great. I went with this because it was the cheapest of the range (I would have thought £60 for a sleeping bag was expensive), I will never camp in sub zero temperatures and I like the Mountain Equipment brand from other stuff I owned.
I was a bit confused by the two sacks (shows my lack of professionalism here). The larger sack is for general storage so you don't wreck the insulation. The smaller sack is for the camping trip.
The bag though was warm and really comfortable. I move a lot in my sleep, and this bag stayed with me, without feeling to tight on me. It is a clever balance that they seemed to have pulled off.
There is a section specially for you feet, which I thought was interesting. Still slept with my socks on though :D
If I could go back in time, I would have put the bag in the washing line to air for a few days, it is a bit pongy when fresh out of the bag, so made the tent smell a little.
Overall though, love this bag, despite being well out of my normal price range for something like this.
