The Women's Sigma Jacket from British manufacturers Mountain Equipment is the next generation in down jackets. Lightweight and water resistance the Sigma Jacket with its 750+ fill power goose down is perfect for fast and light winter sports when not being burdened by a heavy load is a primary concern. Designed and constructed around a tailored active cut with a grown on hood to give uncompromising performance and complete upper body insulation.The Drilite Loft II outer of the Sigma Jacket renders the face fabric totally windproof and highly water resistant which is great news of course when out on the hill. The ribbed shaped, stitched through baffle construction is not only highly effective but gives a unique look to the women's specific active cut of the Sigma Jacket. An internal storm flap backs up the two-way centre zip, and the two zipped hand warmer pockets offer a welcoming respite for frozen fingers.

Rip Stop -This is a lightweight nylon fabric with interwoven ripstop reinforcement threads in a crosshatch pattern. It is woven with a coarse, strong warp and filling yarns at intervals so that tears will not spread. Ripstop is used in construction of hot air balloons and yacht sails but in this case very effectively on outdoor clothing. |

Cosy Jacket
Bought this for my wife and she loves it! Very warm but because it's so light it's really comfortable to wear. We are both very pleased with this purchase.
