Quick and easy to pitch, the Twin Arch 2 Tent from Mountain Hardwear features a freestanding design and guaranteed watertight. The Twin Arch 2 tent has generous headroom, large single door, and a dry entry vestibule to stow gear. Mountain Hardwears Color coded poles and grommet tabs and reflective starter points make even late-night set up easy. - Guaranteed watertight construction with fully taped fly, taped perimeter seam, welded corners and welded guy clip anchors. Rain room tested with 1200" of rain in 24 hours.
- 7001 PF pole system is strong, lightweight, durable, resistant to corrosion and dents, and easy to service by hand in the field
- Crosshub pole structure increases usable space, creates a very stable pole structure and is easy to set up
- Pitch Light configuration allows user to set up a superlight shelter using only the tent fly, poles and footprint (sold separately)

Excellent Lightweight and Stable Tent

I bought a Mountain Hardwear Twin Arch earlier in the year and have used it twice now. It's a very easy tent to erect and the combination of the single cross hub pole and well tensioned flysheet make for a very stable structure. There are four guying points but strangely Mountain Hardwear do not supply pegs for these (not the only manufacturer to skimp like this). Even without the guy lines this is a very stable tent and they are probably only necessary in high winds. I have several tents and the notable difference with this one is the use of lighter colour fabrics for the inner and outer which make for a less oppressive, airy feeling inside (compared to say Vango’s pine green fly and orange interior). The inner has plenty of head room and contains plenty of mesh on the upper half meaning that it is well ventilated but draft free lower down. The inner door has an upper and a lower mesh panel, with the middle being solid. The porch is quite small but still useful to store boots and a rucksack. The quality of the components is very good, it feels like a quality product. At 2.4kg all in it’s not a heavy tent although the packed size is slightly longer than some tents at this weight due to the folded pole length. Overall I am very happy with this tent.REVIEW BY: Troy
