Nikwax TX Direct Wash In 1 Litre is the world’s no.1 high performance waterproofing for breathable waterproof clothing that is easy, safe and quick to use in a washing machine. TX direct is Fluorocarbon-free, solvent-free and no tumble drying is required. Tech details
- Free Wash Ball with each Wash In Nikwax product.
- Ideal For:
- Clothing with drop liners
- Microporous coatings
- Gore-Tex
- Sympatex
- eVENT
- Tripple-Point Ceramic

- Breathable laminates
Machine Wash:
Remove all detergent build-up from the detergent dispenser.
Place maximum of 2 clean garments in washing machine.
Use 2 full caps (100ml) per garment.
Run 30° synthetic cycle and slow spin.
Do not machine wash garments if taped seams have become dislodged.*
Hand Wash (use gloves):
Immerse 1 clean garment in 6L of hand-hot water in a bowl or sink.
Add 1 full cap (50ml) of TX.Direct.
Agitate to mix, leave to soak for 5-10 minutes, then agitate thoroughly.
Rinse with cold water until water runs clear.
Drying:
Air dry or tumble dry on a low setting if care label allows.
To maintain waterproofing always wash with Nikwax Tech Wash. Do not use detergents.
Faulty taped seams sometimes become detached on old or worn garments. They can be re-stuck using a proprietary clear glue after waterproofing and drying

Easy to use,but could use a measure for correct quantity.One capfull is about 25ml as a guide. Also recommend applying product in sink/bucket as easier to expose garment to Nikwax Wash In.Product worked well, now water bounces off, but yet to test under extreme conditions. webtogs lived up to all their promises, with next day delivery and I recommend them highly.

Purchased to retore water-repellency to the outer layer of a waterproof parka. Does exactly what it says on the bottle. My parka now sheds water droplets like a good-un, and you only need to use 100ml per garment, so loads left for future use.

Rescued!
Thought my walking waterproofs were finished in that they all had started letting in water from the lightest of rainfalls. Tried the Nik Wax as a last resort - miraculous results, my 2 sets of waterproofs - Berghaus and Montane jackets and trousers are now back to as they were when I bought them - fully waterproof! Highly recommended.
