Water based and eco friendly - Nikwax Tech Wash 300ml can be used to clean jackets, fleeces, baselayers but is brilliant for waterproofs as it will not damage the durable water repellent treatments on the outside. Nikwax Tech wash is used instead of detergents which can stop your waterproof stuff breathing and letting your sweat out. Finish the job with Nikwax TX Direct products to bring back water repellency.Features

Tech details
Use neat Tech Wash and a sponge or soft nylon brush to treat stubborn stains before washing. Remove all non-washable parts. Shake well before use. Follow care label instructions. Do not use detergents.Machine Wash:
Remove all detergent build-up from the detergent dispenser.
Place item(s) in washing machine (maximum 2 items).
Use 150ml in medium/hard water* areas and 100ml in soft water areas for 1-2 items.
Wash according to care label.
Hand Wash (use gloves):
Immerse item(s) in hand-hot water in sink or bowl.
Use 150ml in medium/hard water* areas and 100ml in soft water areas for 1-2 items.
Rinse 3 times in clean water.
Drying:
Air dry or tumble dry on a low setting if care label allows.

Gortex jacket still dirty
my waterproof is bright orange and fairly grubby especially around the seams. This product didn't get it clean after putting it in the washing machine. Maybe it will work better if you soak it first.
