The Rab Men's Latok Jacket would make a fantastic choice for Scottish winter climbing, winter Alpinism and expeditions in the greater ranges.  Abrasion resistant panels in key wear areas provide additional durability without adding unnecessary weight. The front zip is a single water resistant zip with a rain guttered back flap which provides total waterproofness in foul weather and additionally makes the front zip arrangement easy to use while wearing winter gloves or mitts. The fully adjustable helmet compatible hood provides great all round vision and protection when used with or without a helmet.

Storage on the Rab Latok is not a problem with the four large external pockets and the two internal mesh pockets. When things get a bit hot the long underarm zips can be opened to provide direct venting allowing you to keep comfortable while working hard.

Trail Say October 2009........A very well-proven jacket that frequently does well in trail tests. It is made from eVent fabric, so it is top of the league for breathability and waterproofness. The body is cut a little shorter than some, which is good for climbing and mountaineering, although hill-walkers may not find it ideal. There is excellent movement in the sleeves, a real benefit when scrambling, climbing or mountaineering. There are four huge chest pockets, all easily accessed while wearing a rucksack. For extra venting there are very long pit zips that extend down the sides. The hood fits a helmet and be can be rolled down and secured. The wired peak, volume adjustment and exceptional fit and movement make it a superb hood. This jacket has a lot of great features for mountain action.
