The Rab Neutrino Endurance 200 Down Sleeping Bag is new for Summer 2012 and features some great innovations that cut weight and improve performance without impacting the integrity of the sleeping bag.

The Neutrino Endurance 200 bag uses Pertex Endurance fabric on the outer and internal collar and hood so to keep moisture at bay and also to save on weight. 800 fill power down is used which is the highest quality and lightest weight natural insulating material.

The Rab Neutrino 200 has a half length YKK zip with anti snag webbing tape so you can easily climb in and out without becoming trapped. It weights only 685g which is super-light for a bag that will comfortably take you down to freezing temperatures. Another key feature for the Rab Endurance Sleeping Bags is their use of an angled foot box. The Angled foot box allows your feet to rest at a natural angle without causing any tension on the bag which might cause the down to compress and then loose the insulating properties, so you have a comfortable and warm nights sleep.

The top end of the market, offering exceptional warmth to weight ratios. 800 fill power is rare and expensive but gives expedition level performance or options for ultralight construction. The high loft down compresses well, keeping pack size down whilst standing up to the most extreme conditions

Pertex Endurance

technology incorporates an ultra-thin membrane with a durable nylon face fabric. This layer is so thin that it hardly adds any weight, nor does it affect the softness of the material considerably.

Pertex Quantum

technology is the lightest of the Pertex fabrics and it shows the best strength to weight ratio. Pertex Quantum is down proof and withstands the abuse of hardcore use.

YKK Zips

are used for their robust and water resistant properties. YKK uses the combination of locking teeth together and a PU coated strip to create a barrier between you and the elements.

DWR

- Durable Water Repellent, is a coating added to fabrics to help add to their water repellency and shed water and snow more effectively.

Angled Foot Box

- Sleeping bags with an angled foot box have been made to fit your feet so that you can lie in a natural position making it more comfortable and also to reduce compression of the down and reduce heat loss.
