The Rab Women's Arete Down Jacket is an entry level down jacket which is perfect for mountain walking and alpine activities because of the use of Pertex Microlite in the outer shell which is a lightweight, durable and water resistant fabric so it shrugs off rain and snow no problem.Rab use YKK zips in the Women's Arete to make the jacket completely water tight and have storm flaps which keep the wind and rain out when taking the jacket off, not that you'll want to. 650+ fill power down insulates and keeps you warm and toasty when the weather is bitter.
