With over 50 years experience of making some of the world’s finest mountaineering, hiking and walking boots, Scarpa combines the best elements of tradition, craftsmanship and technology. In 1952, Luigi Parisotto founded the brand in the corner of a stable attached to the local church. Quickly going from strength to strength, Scarpa developed a name for hand crafted shoes that are true of the cliché "fits like a glove." If you visit the factory today, that same approach to Artisan manufacture remains, with a hushed library like atmosphere, each Scarpa shoe or boot being finished by hand.
