The Silva Sprint Plus is an award winning headlamp with an astonishing 1030 lumens of light. This head torch can see up to 140 metres in front and at only 190g the Sprint Plus is at the top of it's class. A run time of 2.5 hours on full beam is ample but if you need more then the there are 3 other settings strobe, wide angle and low light. A maximum power output of 20 hours.Silva have designed the Sprint Plus for high performance activities and it's ideal for trail running, mountain biking and night time ascents and descents. It's waterproof to IPX6 which means that it can shrug off heavy downpours and puddles however prolonged immersion is not recommended.

I bought this light primarily for use on my mountain bike. It comes with a handlebar mount as well as the head and helmet mounts. It's an expensive light, but the very long burn time is a real bonus and the specs do translate into the real world. The unit is really nicely built, but not heavy. It's reasonably comfy to wear and the bike mount is nice and strong. As for the performance... WOW. On full power it is incredibly bright, with a wide, even beam. Riding fast at night is made so much safer when you can see so clearly. The lower power settings work well, on the road I just tend to use the spot function as this gets me seen, off road I will often run on the second-highest setting which gives tons of light and loads of battery life. For working /walking around at night, the head harness is great. Well worth the money.
