Have you ever wondered how you can work your touch sensitive gadget like your iphone, ipod, tablet or touch pad? Well here's the answer - The North Face Etip Gloves. The Etip's have a great function which allows you to operate the touch sensitive surfaces of your mp3 player, GPS, phone or tablet. This is the addition of X-static finger tips on the thumb and index finger of each glove. This means that even in the cold you can still work your gear without a hitch and the hassle of having to remove a glove to change track or destination. The North Face have also added a silicone grip pattern on the Etip glove palms to aid you in gripping your device.I've lost 3 phones from chairlifts over the years and since having a pair of Etips, touch wood, I've not had to go looking again, I'd say that was proof enough.

X-Static fabric has a layer of all natural pure silver permanently bonded to the fibre face. This inhibits the growth of bacteria, and helps manage moisture and regulate temperature, allowing the high speed user to stay cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. Really easy to do activities while wearing them. Thin but they take the chill off your hands perfectly and the e-tip idea is great for using a smartphone on cold icy days! The only criticism I have is that the seams seem weak and come apart if used for any overly strenuous activity. Otherwise great gloves!REVIEW BY: Boucetla

Cool gloves but a bit of a novelty
These are a neat pair of gloves (as expected from The North Face) and the electronically enhanced tip seems to work. Using smart phones is still slightly restricted though as the gloves increase finger size and hence decreases accuracy of finger inputs. A novel concept which overall seems to work well.

best present ever
these are perfect for the iphone generation 10% cheaper than Snow and Rock prices, free delivery too (Snow and Rock were happy to charge £7 delivery) Bought them for my son and he just loves them, a really cool gadget. Ordered at 3pm and they arrived next day very impressive and I have told everyone!!

A must have if you've got a touchscreen phone!
These gloves are brilliant, they arrived super quick, and they fit like a...glove :) work very well with my phone and feel comfortable to wear everyday! Highly recommended at great price too!

North Face E-Tip gloves

I've been searching high and low for these gloves ever since my last pair started getting a bit tatty after two harsh Winters.Webtogs had them in at a slightly lower price than the usual outdoor shops and even North Face stores themselves. The service was speedy and I'd received them in the post by the next day.
The gloves themselves are unique for their ability to work with touch sensitive devices such as iPhones, laptops, and other similar gadgets. They're reasonably warm though don't expect to use these on serious treks, they're more a glove for somebody looking to keep their hands warm whilst out and about and doesn't want to take their gloves off to call somebody. The grip is reasonable, though I found the older design better in this department.
