The North Face makes sure that all of their gear is designed and researched with the help of many world class athletes ranging from cyclists to mountaineers. What this means is that all The North Face jackets are made with some seriously crazy, cleverness combined with some of the planets nutters. The end result is a range of North Face jackets which are warm, comfortable and look fantastic. I think that one of the brilliant things about The North Face jackets is that no matter whether you're off to battle with some sub-zero temperatures or just to chill out and take a load off there is always a North Face jacket to accompany you and keep you warm and snug.

The North Face have it all and if you're thinking about a lightweight, windproof jacket then might I suggest the North Face Apex Elixir Jacket? This is a winning jacket and it's part of The North Face Summit Series which makes it even more attractive. The Summit Series means that the jacket has been tested to it's limits on, yes you've guessed it, many a North face. Pardon the pun. Anyway it's a great jacket and testament to The North Face's consistent design and research into new and exciting jackets.

More of a fleece person? We have just the job. The North Face Zermatt Hoody. This beast of a fleece is great in winter time with a high lofting inner fleece and then a wool and polyester mix for the outer layer. The North Face really put a lot of effort into this fleece jacket so much so that I bought one as soon as it entered our warehouse. I've hardly taken it off due to our British Summer time and in the Winter under a North Face Nuptse jacket, wow you'll be toasty. This leads me nicely onto my next topic.

The North Face Down Jackets. Here is s range of jackets where it's almost impossible to pick a favourite but if I was to go on pedigree and year on year quality then it would have to be the North Face Nuptse jacket. This North Face jacket is great; perfect 700 fill power down insulation, double layer taffeta on the shoulders, DWR finish and this jacket looks fantastic. For those of you that are Nuptse jacket fans then you're in for a surprise. North Face have taken the Nuptse and made a clone. The Nuptse 2 jacket. This bad boy features the same fill power as the traditional Nuptse jacket but with smaller baffles and elasticated cuffs which give it a more sporty, active look.
