Besides having one of the longest names for a jacket I've ever come across, it's a very good product. Very durable, light and waterproof. Just used it for the last two days in New York as the snow hit. Kept me warm whilst moving between offices. An excellent product that I can't recommend enough.REVIEW BY: erki

Smart, practical, and stylish jacket

I am sure that this jacket performs brilliantly on a windswept fell or a barren moor. Equally I suspect that most are worn to go shopping or pop down the local!As a somewhat larger man I choose it for its larger fit option (XXL). I have found the fit very comfortable even for a 48" chest and long arms.
The jacket is used nearly everyday for my all weather wear between offices and when undertaking outside inspections. I have not had any issues with waterproofing and the jacket is totally windproof. If it had a hood in the collar it would be almost perfect. I have had a number of positive comments about the jacket which is always nice.
In summary a really reliable, smart jacket that is cost effective and suitable for even the larger framed amongst us.
Also brilliant, fast postage from Webtogs, I had never used them before but was very impressed.

Superb jacket ideal for all autumn & winter weather.Great for throwing on as casual jacket and for wrapping up against the North East coast's elements.
Superb windproof & waterproof qualities.
Very versatile jacket, highly reccomend it.

Does what it's meant to
Good fit (agrees with the sizing chart) with good length sleeves. Well made and the fabric feels like it will take plenty of punishment. Very impressed.

This jacket is lightweight, very warm, pretty much wind proof and water resistant.It's ideal for a general use jacket.
There's no hood and the cut is quite short, so for harsh weather you'll need another coat, but if you just want something for casual wear with some protection from the elements this is the one.
Quality is spot on, as you'd expect from North Face, although it should be for the price!

I'm a keen fan of NF and this garment doesn't disappoint. Good fit, practical and nice styling - just as described !Although a little more expensive than comparative sources, I used Webtogs as they offered the additional service and security sadly lacking in other vendors.
The order arrived at my workplace in Brussels, Belgium 2.5 days after payment so hats off to their after-sales and delivery service.
I'll give it 5/5 .. kepe up the good wrok !

I have never had any issues with North Face garments and this is another quality item. This is a lightweight flexible jacket that repels showers and keeps the wind out. Has a hidden elastic drawstring inside the waistband, which can be adjusted and fastened inside the front 2 pockets. This was a nice added feature and it really helps to stop any chills on the windiest days. If you get it mucky, the jacket washes really well and drys extremely quickly. Highly recommended for climbing & skiing. Also, this was the first time I had used webtogs and the service was fantastic. Next day delivery, well packaged and the best price I could find on the web. Football Use
I bought this for football coaching, but I think I will be in it much more. It is warm, comfortable and a great fit. Been great in the snow and looking forward to seeing how effective in the rain.

After much searching for a windproof, waterproof jacket that looked good as well as did the job, I finally decided to splash out on The North Face Apex Bionic Soft Shell Jacket. I wanted a jacket that not only kept the weather at bay but also one that looked good with a jacket and tie. The Apex jacket didn't let me down. I have worn it every day for the last couple of weeks and it certainly does what it says on the tin. Not only is it windproof and waterproof, it looks smart and is very comfortable to wear.
