The Men's Downpour Jacket from The North Face is an excellent 2 layer GORE-TEX Performance all mountain shell that's at home on the hill as much as on the high street too. The roll away hood blends neatly into the high collar; both of which afford plenty of protection from the elements where it's needed.Two upper alpine, and two hand warmer chest pockets on the Downpour Jacket provide ample and accessible storage without adding baulk - especially when wearing a harness. Plenty of other technical features including: pit-zips for venting, a mesh/taffeta lining ensures that there is no snagging of layer garments.
