The North Face M WindWall 1 Fleece Jacket

Product Details:

For athletes facing biting winds, the North Face M Windwall 1 Jacket helps you fight back with a wind-resistant fleecy layer. It uses Windwall, the proprietary fleece from The North Face that uses a fabric bonding process to limit air permeability and reduce the wind chill. Wind permeability rated at 14 CFM, it's powerful enough to insulate in moderate cold weather, keeping you going on your run or hike while others feel the icy blasts. Alternatively, pair the Windwall Jacket with other layers from The North Face for superior protection from the wintriest of conditions. A mesh lining leaves it comfy to wear too, and side hand pockets, a full-length zip and swish design complete the look.

WINDWALL: Exclusive to The North Face, WindWall is a fleece fabric that retains the comfort, flexibility, and breathability of traditional fleece while eliminating wind chill. Traditional fleece tests at 200 CFM, a relatively porous rating compared to WindWall, which rates between 10 and 40 CFM. Some WindWall fabrics achieve wind resistance through their densely knit construction, while others use bonding and lamination technologies.

All WindWall fabrics cut 80 to 95% of wind, keeping the outdoor athlete warm while allowing enough airflow to ensure a dry and comfortable fit.

WindWall has proven a trusted year-round technology, as it shines as either a layering fabric or as standalone outerwear in milder conditions.

About The North Face...

‘Never stop exploring’ shouts the maxim on The North Face website, but this is a principle that applies just as much to The North Face as a company themselves. Their ever increasing range of innovative products and continuing research and development program, proves that The North Face is far from happy sitting on it’s laurels, and the continuing race to remain one of the most popular outdoor equipment brands in the world is as tough as any ascent of the north face of the Eiger itself.
