The North Face Men's Hedgehog GTX XCR III trail running shoes are an updated version of the very versatile and popular Hedgehogs which helped many a person run up slippery slopes and navigate treacherous descents.The Hedgehog 3's have all the technology from last years Hedgehog and more which is exciting to say the least. Gore-Tex as standard for keeping your feet dry and ventilated, Northotic Pro foot bed which has been updated with Poron ReSource heel and forefoot cushioning to keep your feet securely in place and absorb shock from any heavy foot fall or uneven surfaces.
The one of the many qualities of the Hedgehog III's is the weight, they are light for their purpose but have not lost any of their durability or dexterity, this allows you to push further and faster without being weighed down.
Trail running shoes need to be strong, light, supportive and responsive. The new updated Men's Hedgehog GTX XCR III are just the job.

A satisfactory result!
I was very pleased when the shoes that I wanted suddenly became available in the right size and color, I took advantage of the free postage offer and was pleased that the shoes arrived well before expected. They have great design features for comfort style and durability. My last pair of this make had great lasting ability so I'm confident these new ones will serve me equally as well.
Meaning I have tough comfortable shoes for the next three years minimum. If there is a minus its that some colors and sizes were shown out of stock, but fortunately for me my choice became available at the time of purchasing. So overall I'm very pleased.

These gore-tex shoes are (so far) absolutely brilliant. Haven't had them off my feet since I got them and from the first second I put them on they felt like a pair of old reliable shoes such is the comfort. They are supportive and light and have stood up to some pretty wet conditions so far. All in all I am over the moon with these, and at this price they are excellent value.REVIEW BY: Pjarks

Had a 2009 pair which i wore for every purpose possible but they needed to be replaced. Webtogs had the best price, and the customer service was outstanding. small suggestion that the latest Hedgehogs are tighter than previous but there was no need for me personally to go up a half size. These are my first North Face shoes and they are great. Waterproof, windproof and breathable these keep my feet warm and dry in winter and cool in the summer. I can wear thin socks in 2 degrees weather and my feet wont be freezing. Thumbs up :) I am a size 9 normally but needed a 9.5.REVIEW BY: ironmike2012

Great service from Webtogs - thank you. Despite reading other reviews to order half a size larger - vanity prevailed and I didn't. I ended up having to exchange my original order for a half a size bigger. Exchange service by Webtogs was brilliant. I have been a fan of Salomon shoes, until my wife tried a pair from North Face.. her subsequent recommendation was well founded.The "Hedgehogs" are arguably the most comfortable and resilient shoes I have worn. I can honestly say that after a few miles walking they have bedded in nicely and with no "tired feet" .. lightweight and just perfect!
Excellent service, with quick delivery and well packaged to boot (no pun) well OK then.
Highly recommended to all!
