Like the elements facing those South Pole residents, this vintage-inspired parka boasts a slew of pockets and provides fully waterproof and breathable 2 layer HyVent down-insulated protection from the very worst of winter squalls - in any location.Simply remove the detachable faux fur trim for better vision or less protection, or just take off the hood completely when it's not required. As mentioned previously, there are plenty of external and internal pockets in which to lose a full days complement of goodies - retro styling brought bang up to date.

HyVent is a waterproof, breathable technology that utilises a three-layer construction to stay simultaneously breathable and waterproof in extreme conditions. The durable woven outer layer protects the wearer from abrasion. The mid-layer utilises a PU coating and micro pores to channel water vapour from the inner layer to the outer, while keeping water out. The comfortable inner layer also channels moisture up to the micro pores. |

The service from Webtogs has been the best I have seen for a long time, replied to my questions very quickly and professionally (Thank you Jon). The Coat arrived early next day.
The Coat itself is excellent quality feels robust and warm as toast, the great thing about the coat is the number of pockets and also unlike other down jackets if you are on the large side you don't end up looking like a Michelin man when you wear it because the padding is on the inside with the waterproof layer on the outside..

Buying for a son not always successful but this parka was an immediate hit. Can withstand all this winter has thrown at us thus far. Bought XL as son is slim 6' 2''. Good fit with good sleeve length. Awesome Jacket! The warmest winter jacket I've ever had. Quality of the product is pure TNF class with lots of handy pockets and clever details. Ordered Friday and arrived Tuesday. Great quality parka. Very warm, great fitting with loads of pockets. Expensive buy but worth every penny.I would thoroughly recommend webtogs and north face.

Seriously warm!!!!!
My wife bought me this coat before christmas, her timing couldn't have been better!
The warmest coat i've ever worn.
Unless you are in subzero temperatures you might find this coat too warm for anything other than sedate activity.

Terrific parka. Has kept me very warm and dry at a time of extremely cold and snowy weather. Delivery up to Scotland was very quick even though the country was at a virtual standstill due to blizzards. Very impressed with everything around this transaction. Recommended

Great Christmas Present in icy conditions
I bought this jacket for my husband as a christmas present as he does a lot of filming, standing around outside in cold conditions. I ended up giving him his christmas present early when the temperature dropped to minus 10. He thought the jacket was excellent and didn't seem to mind the icy conditions of the winter of 2010. I was exceptionally impressed with the prompt delivery of the jacket as lots of things were arriving late due to the snowy weather.

Warm as toast
Superb for a winter sea watch, keeping this warm means that you can stay longer. If you have to walk far then don't overdo the inner layers

Great Parka
This is as good as I expected from the king of the Parka's and arrived at just the right time !!When I unpacked it I thought this is a heavy piece of kit,but when you put it on it some how fills balanced and fairly light -Love it.

I know the parka is a little on the expensive side but it is very good value as the quality is excellent. The service from webtogs was first class with my initial order arriving within a couple of days. One note of caution is in the product sizing as initially i ordered a large (to let me get jumpers ect on under it) but it was huge and so had to return it (which was a very easy process) and they resent a medium within a couple of day. brill coat
Got it just before the latest blasts of snow/cold air, nice and snug with just a tee-shirt underneath.
Only minor gripe is high static levels - but I get this with nylon clothes - also with hood up it comes a long way forward so can be tricky to see where your going but kept the snow out.

Really good buy
This coat does what it says on the tin, really warm and comfortable keeping out the harsh elements.
One minor irritation is the the toggle adjustment for the hood does not stay adjusted, otherwise really great cold weather gear.

just the job
First time user of webtogs - excellent service, will revisit. Given the current weather the coat has performed brilliantly, as I'm really tall it's given me great fit and comfy protection in town and for long walks in the country. Too heavy for expedition work but great general cold weather coat.
