The North Face Men's Nuptse 2 Vest is a down vest evolved from the ever popular Nuptse Vest only with a twist. The North Face have slimmed the Nuptse 2 vest down and added more down filled baffles and at the same time kept the all important 700 fill power down concentration.During the evolution the North Face have managed to shed a few grams of weight here and their making this the lightest Nuptse vest yet. Just because the Nuptse is light doesn't mean its lost any of those features though; 700 fill power down being kept in place by a mini rip-stop DWR treated shell, double layer taffeta on the shoulders add to the abrasion resistance while wearing a backpack. The Nuptse 2 vest is also zip in compatible which enables you to layer up when the weather turns a bit chilly.

700 Fill PowerThis down provides a very high level of warmth to weight keeping you warm without being heavy and bulky. Products made with 700 fill power down will be extremely compressible ensuring they take up as little room as possible in your pack. |

Rip Stop -This is a lightweight nylon fabric with interwoven ripstop reinforcement threads in a crosshatch pattern. It is woven with a coarse, strong warp and filling yarns at intervals so that tears will not spread. Ripstop is used in construction of hot air balloons and yacht sails but in this case very effectively on outdoor clothing. |

DWR- Durable Water Repellent, is a coating added to the Nuptse 2 Vest to help add to it's water repellency and shed water and snow more effectively. |

Stitched Through Construction- Down garments and equipment constructed using a stitch through construction which helps keep down in place and reduce clumping. This construction is used mostly on mid to low weight down items. |

I love this garment and can't believe how something so lightweight can keep you so warm. I've worn it in 2 ways so far, over a fleece and zipped inside a TNF tri-climate jacket and it has excelled at both. If I had to criticise it for anything it's that feathers have escaped through the outer fabric more frequently than I'd like, but that's a very small complaint really. I'd also like to praise Webtogs for a great price and quick delivery.REVIEW BY: SimonP

Down migration should finish after a few weeks and is perfectly normal in down items; please do not pull the feathers through the outer material as this will cause problems in the future.

Webtogs have done it again, given great service at a great price for another great product.. The vest itself is very warm and lightweight and even with it being in the xxl does not make it look balloon like which is good..
The service was great and it arrived 2 days after ordering (with the free delivery option)
