Weight: 560g / 20ozWINDWALL: Exclusive to The North Face, WindWall is a fleece fabric that retains the comfort, flexibility, and breathability of traditional fleece while eliminating wind chill. Traditional fleece tests at 200 CFM, a relatively porous rating compared to WindWall, which rates between 10 and 40 CFM. Some WindWall fabrics achieve wind resistance through their densely knit construction, while others use bonding and lamination technologies.
All WindWall fabrics cut 80 to 95% of wind, keeping the outdoor athlete warm while allowing enough airflow to ensure a dry and comfortable fit.
WindWall has proven a trusted year-round technology, as it shines as either a layering fabric or as standalone outerwear in milder conditions.

Been looking in a few local stores to check sizes and the difference between the different TNF fleeces availables. Settled on this one as I like the soft feel finish, fit and not too bulky either. No one had it in stock in the size/colour and the same price as Webtogs. Only small disadvantage is that it doesn't have zip-in facility with my Triclimate parka if I want to use it instead of the Down underlayer. I'll still use this just can't zip it in. Delivery within 2 days via free delivery option even a week before Christmas..very good service and prices from Webtogs as usual.REVIEW BY: SubaruWRX

Good product at great price
Apart from the usual annoying zip configuration across all of TNF jackets, this jacket is superb! It works really well at keeping the wind out and feels good to wear. Light and compact it's the perfect chill breaker. Much cheaper than Gore equivalent, why would you either pay more for the name or spend the same on a polartec fleece? Highly recommended.

well made, good fitting jacket though sleeves possibly a little short and would be improved with velcro tab rather than elastic cuff.

An excellent purchase
In preparation for a 6 month tour of SOuth America, I did not want to be buled down by heavy coats. I´m hoping most of the time the weather will be sunny. But, my first couple of nights in Quito have been cool, and the jacket has been a perfect buy. Not heavy, it´s soft, keeps me warm, easy to stow on a plane and two big pockets! worth the purchase!

Overall a good jacket. But my honest opinion is. That im average build and im a little disappointed as the jacket is just that little to short in the arms and i think and XL jacket would be to big all round
