Named after the world’s largest and coldest island, the Women's North Face Greenland Jacket is designed to keep its wearer warm and dry in cold conditions.With 550 fill down and the two layer HyVent fabric outer, the North Face Greenland Jacket not only looks the part but as a fully wind and waterproof winter jacket it's durable and stylish as well. Two large hand pockets keep your hands warm and the detachable faux fur hood trim and removable waist belt make it a fashionable and practical piece for the outdoor woman.

HyVent is a waterproof, breathable technology that utilises a three-layer construction to stay simultaneously breathable and waterproof in extreme conditions. The durable woven outer layer protects the wearer from abrasion. The mid-layer utilises a PU coating and micro pores to channel water vapour from the inner layer to the outer, while keeping water out. The comfortable inner layer also channels moisture up to the micro pores. |

lovely jacket
spent a lot of time looking at this jacket wasn't sure esp as sometimes northface come up a bit on the snugg size,took a gamble and ordered a 14 I needn't have worried it arrived today and is a perfect fit i'm usually a 14 but can boarder a 16 bust size,and I'll easily still be able to wear warm layers underneath,not that I think I'll need too it's a lovely thick jacket I'm over the moon also great quick delivery from webtogs cant wait for the cold weather so I can wear it!

Best jacket for cold Sweden
Purchase this jacket to go to WRC in Sweden/Norway. Having to wait for the cars in cold snowy conditions this jacket kept me warm and the fur around the hood prevents snow and ice on the face.

I was surpriced that the jacket is so lightweight. I expected heavy and very insulated jacket. Instead i have warm lightweight waterproof jacket which is fine for the british winter weather. I imagine at temperatures below -2 it would not be suficient enough. Also the length of coat could be longer. It is fashionable shape but not practicle to keep your buttocks and thighs warm. As i come from mountains this is not a jacket i would take on an expedition in adverse weather. Perfect for english winters and value for monney.REVIEW BY: caterpillar

Lovely jacket but just a trifle short. Needs warm trousers as well.

Very very nice jacket. I'm normally a small but have long arms so the medium was a good choice! Only slight disappointment was I thought it was a 700g filling but its only 550 and my North Face Nuptse jacket is actually warmer but has no hood!!! Best jacket I have ever owned
Delivery was really quick jacket arrived within a couple of days and that was through heavy snow and a few days before christmas.
The jacket is extremely warm and stylish although it could be a couple of inches longer.
It really is the best jacket I have ever owned - Love it!

Great purchase
I was looking for a coat to keep me warm....this most definately fits the bill!
I ordered a 'large' as I am usually a size 14 and I found it to be quite a big fit although I think the medium may have been a bit snug.
I am really pleased with my purchase.

Very warm!!
In terms of warmth I love this coat. In all the snow I have been very snuggly, this mornign I was stranded on the side of the road for 2 hours outside in the snow in -7 degrees & not a single chill. The downside & why I have given it 4 stars for build quality is like some magical force the outer fabric attracts every single bit of dust & hair. I have the black version & every morning before I put it on I have to "de-hair" it with a sticky roller a lot otherwise it is covered from being out & about the previous day & even then it doesnt come off very easily. At the weekend I was xmas shopping it was absolutely covered in coloured fibres & fluff that it had attracted, i ahve never had a coat do this before. I dont have pets but when visiting a friend with a cat after 2 hours it was covered even though it was actually no where near the cat & was hanging on a hook. For the money I wouldnt have expected this to happen as I have many other performance jackets that have never been like this. But if you want to be very warm this coat is without doubt fantastic!

Smart and functional winter jacket
After looking at lots of warm waterproof jackets I decided to go for this North Face jacket for a number of reasons - it looks very smart (which means I can wear it for work), it's very warm for its weight (because of the down fill), it keeps drafts out (because of the elasticated cuffs and waist belt) and it's fully waterproof (unlike cheaper shower proof jackets). The jacket has been great during the recent cold weather - keeping me warm and dry despite all of the snow!

Quality Buy
Since I bought my first North Face Jacket 4 years ago I have used them as a new benchmark of quality insulated clothes. Bought this for my wife who is very fashion-conscious, in anticipation of our forthcoming ski trip. Luckily she loves it and is no longer cold when we are out walking, so I get to wear MY North Face Jacket (bonus). Good quality stain-resistant WARM materials used, with a belt for girls to show they have a waist. Hightly recommended. Fast procesing and shipping from Webtogs at a price I couldn't match elsewhere on the web - again highly recommended.

Good one!
This jacket is really good, i wear it in the cold winter in Norway and i cant even feel the cold. It looks nice wearing it aswell. Its abit shorter than i tougt it would be. Thats the only thing, other than that, it a great jacket. Love mine, i think im going too wear it alot this winter.

I shall be testing this jacket out proper when I go to Iceland this week but it stood the test of keeping me snug whilst watching the firework display this bonfire night. Who is it said "There's no such thing as bad weather only the wrong clothes"... it looks like I have found just the jacket to prove this theory correct.
