The North Face Women's Makalu Insulated Jacket is a ladies winter coat insulated by Primaloft One and wrapped in a Hyvent Alpha shell which is seam taped for full waterproof protection. Hyvent Alpha also allows the Makalu to breathe so if you do start to warm up it won't be like wearing a bin bag like so many other jackets. The North Face have given the ladies Makalu a helmet compatible hood that swivels to prevent any obstruction of your view and slightly raised pockets so you can access them while wearing a pack or harness.The Makalu is part of the North Face Summit Series and will protect you from the worst cold and wet weather with warm Primaloft insulation and waterproof, breathable Hyvent Alpha keeping the rain and snow away from your body exceptionally well. It happens to look pretty awesome too.
